Your Bucket List for 2017

Even school children have stopped making New Year resolutions.
You know that you will break those at the earliest opportunity.
And it is designed to make you feel inadequate and terrible.

The next best thing around this year is to make a wish list of all the things you desire that should happen to you.
Of course, they never happen.
But, you don’t feel miserable as you never expected them to come true.
It is a no-win, no-lose situation.
Hugely predictable- utterly boring.
A bucket list is a list of all the goals you want to achieve, dreams you want to fulfil and life experiences you desire to experience before you die.
Even if you frequently live by goals or to-do lists, they are probably framed within a certain social context e.g. performance, career, health. A bucket list opens up the context. It’s a forum to set anything and everything you’ve ever wanted to do, whether it’s big, small or random.
Imagine that you have only one year to live.
Only 365 days; 52 weeks
What would you do ?

Here’s a list of all the things you must do to make this year the most rewarding-even if you die after one year, you will have no regrets.
They are in random order:

  • Travel Alone

It can be scary traveling alone, especially when you’ve never done it before.

The greatest reward of solo travel is that each time you travel, you learn to become a little more independent, confident, and tune in with your emotions and desires.

While the experience may only last for a short duration, those few minutes will be some of the most memorable ones in your life.
