Reliance Consumer announces to launch Alan’s Bugles in India

Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL) has announced partnership with General Mills, a US based food company, to launch Alan’s Bugles in India.

Alan’s Bugles, an international brand of corn chips is owned by General Mills. It will be available in India, giving Indian snackers access to a brand with over 50 years of heritage and popularity in markets like the UK, US, and the Middle East.

Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL) aims to cater to the aspirational Indian consumer by providing premium and rich snack options that satisfy their cravings. The company plans to actively participate in the growing western snacks market, emphasizing taste and overall experience. The launch of Alan’s Bugles marks another step towards expanding RCPL’s presence in the FMCG sector.

Alan’s Bugles provide a high-quality snacking experience at an affordable price starting at Rs 10. Flavors include Original (Salted), Tomato, and Cheese, providing a variety of options to consumers. This launch aligns with RCPL’s vision of delivering quality products at affordable prices to Indian consumers.

General Mills India’s Finance Director, Mr. Sheshadri Savalgi, expressed excitement about bringing Bugles to India. Bugles are popular for their iconic cone shape & light and crispy texture. Consumers worldwide have been enjoying them since their introduction in 1964. General Mills looks forward to seeing snack loving consumers across India embrace Bugles as well.

RCPL plans to initially launch Alan’s Bugles in Kerala and gradually expand its availability throughout India. This launch strengthens RCPL’s diverse FMCG portfolio, which includes a range of beverages (Campa, Sosyo, and Raskik), daily essentials (Independence), confectionery (Toffeeman), biscuits (Maliban), and home and personal care products (Glimmer and Dozo), among others.
