Are you being Judged or being ignored?

Those are pretty much the only two choices.

Being judged is uncomfortable.
People will make Snap judgments about you  based on  prejudices and misinformation…
Your dress sense, your language, your social standing- all of these, combined with not enough time to truly know you, means that you will inevitably be misjudged, underestimated (or overestimated) and unfairly rejected.

The alternative, of course, is much safer. Be ignored.
It is safer but more painful.
You realise that you have not done enough for people to notice you.

I prefer being judged.
But, it’s Up to you.
